back to article Palantir's Tom Watson lectures MP on accuracy, citing selective data

Palantir's newly appointed UK senior vice president Tom Watson has accused Labour MP Clive Lewis of making "incorrect claims" about the company – while repeating NHS performance figures that the statistics regulator has said require careful caveats. Watson, the former deputy leader of the Labour Party, advised Palantir from 2024 …

The worst thing about seeing his ugly mug...

Is that unless one follows the news, he has all the appearance of being in office. This is Tom Watson, Labour politician speaking,

Is that this revolving-door behaviour is not against the law.

And punishable by cancelling his pension and access to any and all government offices.

      For life.

Re: The worst thing about seeing his ugly mug...

The narrative needs correction. Tom Watson hasn’t been former Deputy Labour leader since 2019 when he voluntarily did not stand again for Parliament in BoJo’s foolhardy 2019 Brexit Unicorn Election.

For someone who voted for Owen Smith to be Labour leader in 2016 …. He most definitely seems to have been seduced by the Dark Side since he was generally well liked (that I remember)…. apart from his Illuminati #pitchforks paedo attack on the establishment post Carl Beech conviction. Irony writ large, with the benefit of hindsight.

    Incompetence

Reading the biography in Wikipedia you realize that incompetence seems to be an advantage and really does pay in some circles.

Ahh Mr Watson is demonstrating a similar view towards evidence, verification and the truth that he demonstrated in office before taking Palantirs shilling(s)

    Ahhh, there we go!

And his purpose has already been revealed...

There we go, kids, it's clear what Watson's been employed as, just like a certain former LibDem party chief and Facebook/Meta.

    Uncle Tom

He has also repeated all these statistics in a letter to the Guardian, and maybe other news outlets today. He’s already earning his keep.

    Money????

    Right wing Republican lunatic.

Said lunatic thinks "end-of-days" is upon us.

So.....absolutely compatible allegiances and beliefs for a former Labour politician......NOT!!!

    But then......follow the money.....

    Sigh!!

P.S. Peter Thiel was hosted by George Osborne to see the Bayeaux Tapestry BEFORE the King and Queen.

    P.P.S. Did I mention money?

If he's meddling with a palantir, shouldn't Tom be renamed Saruman in this scenario?

Yes… except that in most respects he’s closer to a snivelling version of Gollum.

    He's not alone

Recent lobbyist for Palantir had key role in helping Andy Burnham become PM

Martha Dalton worked closely with Burnham’s team on byelection that secured his return to parliament

... and who is Lewis Mosley?

Grandson of Oswald Mosley of the Blackshirts fame, nephew of F1's 'stick it up my ...' Max Mosley - no dodgy characters in the Mosley family at all.
