    When was that?

    I was on it probably about 15 years ago and pretty sure I never saw posts from real people.

    Creatures devoid of personality, creativity and originality sure, but no actual real people.

    To be fair, Linkedin has never been anything but corporate jargon, sales glop and marketing nonsense which is all indistinguishable from a machine writing garbage.

    LinkedIn has always been an echo chamber.

    AI slop probably makes it marginally better.

    It never ceases to amaze me how this website got such a foothold that part of job seeking requires you to have a profile on it.

    It’s all about the optics.

    “wow, look at all that feedback. Look at all the articles linked! Look at that network! This person must be good!”

    …or they just spend eighty percent of their time noodling about on social media.
