I agree. Spreadsheets are like circular power saws without any safety covers. Powerful tools, but utterly dangerous. I have seen people ruining their professional reputations by not being able to manage the complexity of the spreadsheets they themselves created. What will happen when people have to manage, and be held accountable for, the complexity created by a LLM?

For my sins (which are many and varied) I have created a few complex technical spreadsheets in the past. And I regret them enormously :(
Why did I do it? Well that was what the customer asked for m'laud. But really anything beyond a few trivial cell formulae should be taken round the back of your work and shot...
