A good begin ..

.. is realising that introducing a "local" AI still means you have a search engine on steroids that will visit every document it has access to (to "learn your company" is the oft used excuse). If access rights are not extremely well managed this means anyone will be able to mine interesting data, which may include the third party supplying you with the capability. Add to that the obligation to label documents (for, for instance, GDPR compliance) and you'll make it very easy to find the interesting bits.

Now imagine you have international access to, say, Microsoft via the Cloud Act as a shady Five Eyes entity..

When considering how most businesses won't tolerate the impact of downtime from running critical patches or the cost of implementing MFA on customer data; I suspect the chances of them paying attention to a 5 Eyes report suggesting they reduce the rollout of AI (which the board are salivating over at the prospect of reducing the meatforce by 80%) is practically zero.

Incidents are next quarters problem; and what else did they hire a CISO for except to take the fall?
