A company on another floor of my building had moved out and i reckoned that the new tenant would arrange their own security.
So one weekend (I was IT Admin so had the keys) I knicked their alarm. The Bell rang for a few seconds until I manged to cut the blue wire.
Still got the bell!
I am of course entirely ignorant of the actual details, but I might imagine that the difference here is that ADT are conveniently trying to minimise by focusing down on the number of data fields stolen per customer (where any fraction less than one might be called "limited"), whereas the ShittyHucksters are trying to big their side up by counting everything separately.
