Amazon on Thursday unveiled Graviton5, its densest, highest performance CPU yet, cramming 192 processor cores into a single socket and promising new levels of AWS performance. Graviton sign of amd failure

Amazon gave AMD money to make them a ArM CPU which was not up to spec , after waisting all that money Amazon decided to do it themselves. AMD are at high core counts now, there small cores try to close the gap to ARM but the horse has bolted.

    Graviton sign of amd failure

Gravatron only exists because AMD failed to deliver. Amazon paid AMD for a custom ARM CPU for there own needs. After falling to deliver Amazon decided to do it themselves. hence Gravatron was born.
