    Open released a statement saying "no financial" information was lost. That does not mean "no information".

    Ah, AI - opening a whole new can of worms

    So they used a 3rd-party provider for web analytics.

    I'm sorry, don't they have AI ? Can't they train it on analyzing their own weblogs ?

    What's the point of their AI if it can only be used to scrape Reddit posts and spit out whatever inane answers were posted elsewhere ?

    It seems to me that they could very well scrape their own weblogs and "train" an internal ChatWLog to spit out the proper analytics.

    Or is that too much to ask for ?

      Because OpenAI is focused on AI, not constantly reinventing the wheel. A company can't go off in infinite directions and be successful.

    Perhaps you could have asked them why it took over 2 weeks to notify their client - or ask OpenAI what they thought of the delay.
