    low margins?

    considering the build quality and reliability of Supermicro is the worst I've ever had to deal with I'm shocked. Would never buy their kit by choice.

      YMMV, we've been buying their kit for nearlly 20 years and haven't had any issues of note. To me it's no different to the big vendors, and it's decently cheaper

    These issues should be nailed in the small print. If there are delays or additional costs, you, the client will be paying for them. All of them. Kiss the money goodbye and put it in escrow before we get out of bed and start work. We'll advise you of extra costs. You will pay them up front in full with a smile on your face and joy in your heart.
