      Someone obviously thought they only need to label something DB2…

      This suggests IBM are signalling the end of DB2, in which case why not licence the source to CockroachDB potentially permitting them to open source it…

    Interesting idea. Big (ie. mainframe) Db2 is a very different beast to the iSeries and LUW versions. I've spent many years reconciling the different ways you have to accommodate all three. And why would you take a product called CockroachDB seriously?
