back to article xAI's Grok has no place in US federal government, say advocacy groups

Public advocacy groups are demanding the US government cease any use of xAI's Grok in the federal government, calling the AI unsafe, untested, and ideologically biased. Led by consumer rights body Public Citizen and Black advocacy group Color of Change, more than 30 organizations signed a letter sent to Office of Management …

    In other news

People on one side of the political spectrum are big mad when something good might happen to somebody on the other side of the political spectrum.

Why not post with a handle instead of AC? Ah, right wing shit stains that explains it.

          Re: In other news

Because the left are extremists that want to censor, deplatform and generally hurt anyone who disagrees with them. My politics are liberal. Maximum freedom and autonomy, small government focused on serving the people not lining their pockets or pursuing globalist facism. The so called left have been hoodwinked and act on their behalf. But at the end of the day authoritarianism is the same regardless of origin, left or right. Misery and death for the masses.

And Casca isn't AC by another name? What's your address and company name if you are so keen to de-anonymise?

And of course you miss the point completely. Posting under a name means people can read your posts and determine your positions and motivations. Right wing plutocratic shitstains don't do that. Funny how they don't want a record of their opinions played back for King and country. You certainly wouldn't be one of them, would you. Or would you.

    Good luck to them

Getting a right wing government to agree to not use a right wing biased AI. If Musk hadn't got on the wrong side of Trump he might have issued an executive order by now mandating Grok as the ONLY government approved AI.

      Re: Good luck to them

Agree, good luck, especially, since it would be a perfect match in so many ways:

      - Right-wing goverment - right-leaning AI, "Mecha Hitler"

      - Incompetent government - worst AI on market

      - A bad-mouthing president - and an AI generating similiar output

      - A president easily triggered into ranting all night long - an AI with the same underlying symptom

      - The government effectively being controlled by a single deranged person - an AI with the same "control" structure

      Re: Good luck to them

Just ask Grok to generate an image of the Donald with a very small penis (tm) and publish it on Truth Social...

It should speed up the process of removing Grok from the landscape.

So that's all Donnie's boxes ticked...

Funny because I find Grok very good despite following the establishment narrative, which it does, but maybe less adamantly than others.

    Demand

    Public advocacy groups are demanding

Without "Epstein" files, they can demand until the cows come home.

I know a senior member of the SWP. He is a perfectly nice and often very funny person, despite his membership of an anti-semitic, authoritarian rape cult.

Yes but who are the Nazis because some of us think it's the left that are big on censorship, taking away guns, forcing ideologies in schools and fixing elections. Not to mention draining every cent or penny of wealth you may have built up for your family.

    Wildly ill-suited for government use

That rather depends on the use to which the government is being put.

    This goes in the

"no duh" folder right? Correct, a criminal russian AI has no business in America what so ever. Unfortunately, we are now living in an alternate universe called "bizzaro world" controlled by zombies and cults.

    God save us all.
