I'm betting Russia
US based Trump supporters don't have the brainpower.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has activated the state's National Guard and declared a state of emergency in response to a cyberattack on the city of Saint Paul. The governor called in the armed forces because the magnitude and complexity of the attack exceeded the city's response capabilities, according to a statement from Walz' …
They apparently have bugger all.
You move everything over to digital, it all goes down really easily. At the very least, have a plan B. Cash, land lines, paper, humans on phones.
The West is erasing the resilience of its basic services, well, pretty much everything, by switching to apps and AI. At this rate, Putin won't even need tanks.
You've got it entirely backwards which is understandable if you listen to and believe the MSM.
It's the West threatening to invade Russia specifically a US General menacing Kaliningrad.
Kiev Independent - A US general just threatened Russia's Kaliningrad
You've got it entirely backwards which is understandable. Every 6 to 8 years, rectum Putin gets so itchy with hemorrhoids he needs to invade another one of its neighbors to get itself "relief" (eg. Georgia 2008) ... somebody please send him a tube of ointment or a live grenade suppository!
A Five day war out of context in a larger Russian offensive.
The report found no evidence to support Russian allegations that Georgia was carrying out genocide against the South Ossetian population. But it said there were "serious indications" of ethnic cleaning against ethnic Georgians in South Ossetia and found Russian forces "would not or could not" stop atrocities by armed groups in areas they controlled.
See 2008 Russian War against Georgia and invasion for context! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russo-Georgian_War
Also the Russians are funding and organising arson and assassinations as well as graffiti, social media lies, fake web site and other fake news all over Europe inc UK and Ireland. Funded DUP Brexit campaign in NI for adverts in London. Funding and organising anti-immigrant protests inc arson of hotels.
Indeed I count about fourteen Russian wars:
Wars involving Russian Federation (1991 till today)
No-one has started a war with Russia since 1945. These are all Russian Imperialism. Not all actually started by Russia, but mostly.
Shepilov,
I understand and sympathize with, your desire to defend Mother Russia's PoV. But you need to make it less glaringly obvious you are working for our agency for research for the internet.
Your beast666 persona is supposed to be an angry disaffected American white male, allegedly working in IT, cheering up Trump and Musk. Not an angry disaffected Russian upset loser that knows nothing about IT.
Remember: Americans traditionally mistrust Russians.
Please be a little more competent at your job. Is that asking so much?
Yours, Ilya Abramovich.
Good on Talking Point #14 however: "MSM". Remember to use it some more, as opposed to Winning! Which is not one of our official talking points, but one you frequently resort to due to your total lack of imagination.
Nah, buggies, motorbikes and donkeys.
They've lost over 11,000 tanks. Redefining Pyrrhic Victory, and that will take another few years just for the Eastern region they claim to have already annexed.
They have asked for Alaska back, but it wasn't really theirs to sell.
Russia is no threat to USA. It is a threat in Europe.
The actual losses are disputed and/or uncertain for various reasons, but generally at least 3,800 is a figure for losses in Ukraine that is not disputed and probably significantly higher.
That is more than most countries have in total and represents something like a tenth of all tanks in the world!
> We'll be seeing T34s on the front line next.
The T34 is very idiosyncratic and out of style but still a wicked weapon in the right hands. (I'm not sure the remaining Russian conscripts are the right hands.) FWIW original and copycat T34s were produced for many years in several lands, and the big Diesel is still being made for other heavy machinery.
You know, it's far from a bad idea.
In a hot war, cybers are going to be used to a lesser or greater extent. No, they haven't been used very decisively in Ukraine. But their impact in Iran was much greater, such as a major Iranian bank, one used to pay civil servants amongst others, apparently being offlined for a few days.
To say nothing of poor Hezbollah's pagers :-(
The US has Cyber Command, true. But working on a real live incident may be quite usefully instructive, as opposed to just drilling for it.
