You most definitely sound like a (certain type of) US citizen, so your comment (singular) tells me you don't understand the history of the United States.
> Americans have guns... lots of them
True. But nothing to boast about, given they aren't in the service of a well organised local militia.
> and most patriots will use them against a tyrannical government to cleanse the tree of liberty with their blood and the tyrants. (parsed from one of Thomas Jefferson's quote)
You've shown one (count them one) instance of doing that against a distant "tyrannical" (that was a nice bit of rabble-rousing at the time) government, where the complaint was they:d not ben voted in by yourselves. And you had the help and encouragement of outside forces, mainly French, to get that far.
The idea that your "patriots"[1] will rise up en masse and succeed, just because they have their own guns, is a silly little fantasy. Whilst you hold onto that idiocy, you are ignoring reality and walking yourself over a cliff - take your pick which one.
[1] Strange usage there - how can you be a patriot if you stage an uprising against your own countrymen? Let alone those whom you voted in.
