Homeland Security boss says CISA has gone
off the rails, vows to set it right

EricM: It is decidedly NOT the job of CSIA to be
a "ministry of truth". Read the law that
created it. Stop with your wild guesses and ignorance.
(EricM quote): 'And if some wacko and his pals
put out information that an election was manipulated,
and the information is factual wrong, it _is_ the
job of CISA to label this information "false".'
NOPE. You're so wrong. CISA was and is mandated to deal
with cyber security technology. Your "ministry of truth"
was shot down upon proposal in a Democratic House and
Senate. Biden got away with it in CISA for a little while.
Thankfully, it is now gone.
I suspect you are not American, not born and raised in
America, or even have lived in America for any number of
years. I would guess that by your ignorance of our laws and
our 'dysfunctional regulatory state (!)', you make such outlandish
statements. We are an interesting
lot that, apparently, you don't understand.
Giles C:
No, CISA does not need to be a ministry of truth. All ministries
of "truth" are necessarily biased. You would be OK as long as
you and the MOT-party were in agreement. When that party was out
of power you will squeal loudly. Read the law that created CISA to
see what it's mission is and why Biden strayed from that mission. (I
shouldn't denigrate Joe Biden. He was infirm for all 4 years of
his term. I blame the auto-pen and those supporting it. Elder
abuse has presented itself to the American public for 4 years.)
Krisi Noem knows far more about CISA than you have demonstrated
here. You can easily be identified as a blowhard if you can't
come up with a huge number of settled facts to support your
emotional rants. My guess is you will go silent. However, I have
an open mind and will listen and research intently facts you
present.
Jessica Lyons: You seem to have conflated a "ministry of truth"
with the actual mission of CISA. Can you explain where I am
going wrong?
