back to article State Dept reorg could harm US in tech battle with China

The US State Department announced a major reorg this month, and the changes could weaken America's ability to counter China's growing technological influence. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced his plan to "make the State Department Great Again" in a press release Tuesday. In an accompanying blog, Rubio slammed the …

Or maybe it is "just tapping me along"? Like a poodle. The greatest most Magnificous Orange runt in the hole World.

Such are these clearly proverbial times that you might as well cut off your noose to spite your face ... much.

In what type of moral world should the richest be helping the poorest?

Yes, helping to feed poor hungry children around the world is corrupt. US farmers are not happy about losing the sales for their products to feed the children. And the US loses the good will of people around the world. So win-win-win for MAGA world where cruelty is the point.

Yeah, Incubus Orange is truly the top-level, greatest, Number One, own-goal champion at this (and everything economics, diplomacy, science/tech, social, ...), the most masterful Monkey in Cheese of the Offal Orifice.

His manically sociopathic thirst and addiction for retribution blinds him to the bulk of commonly experienced reality, plain making it a secondary concern, along with the Nation's wellbeing. The cut-off-nose/spite-face "proverb" I referred-to above, for example, is commonly used in relation to cutting foreign assistance programs and how that (among others) can "stymie the creation of markets for U.S. agricultural products" (versus helping to recoup profit from surpluses).

China, and North Korea, are helping Russia invade Europe as we speak (feeding their emaciated porn addicts into the meat grinder). But the Petulant Monarch of Orange Cheese is so busy with vanity, jealousy and revenge that he can't see that as noteworthy ... he probably worships those killer totalitarian tyrants' antiquated whip collections anyways, as they're aimed at freeing their own people, of their few remaining freedoms.

It'd be ok if he was just sawing off the tree branch he's sitting on¹ ... but he seems intent to do so to everyone, along with sawing off our lower legs, so that we bow down at his feet², imho!

¹⁻ from the French version of the cut-nose/spite-face proverb: "scier la branche sur laquelle on est assis", also shooting oneself in the foot, and own-goal; ²⁻ from Ludwig Von 88's "Sous Le Soleil Des Tropiques" lyrics, translated

US Embassies should be in the US, right?

Looking forward to the new US embassies to Alabama and Mississippi.

    Hmm

"I am very concerned about what happened to CDP," Pearl told us. "Moving away from having them report to the Deputy Secretary is going to lower their standing in the department and their ability to reach leadership."

Maybe possibly true. Or maybe the government bureaucracy fearing a loss of prestige.

    But there's always a but

The problem is it is a bloated, bureaucratic swamp
