Of course we don't hear of all these cyber attacks from the west, but its well known that the CIA, FBI and NSA have backdoors in pretty much every piece non Chinese made equipment, and they use that to spy on everyone, and have done so for many decades.

Its why the US doesn't want Chinese gear in everyone's network, because that would stop them dead in their spying tracks.

There will be fewer such attacks in the future. Trump is firing anyone capable of doing it, and it would be impossible in the future to get permission to buy servers abroad.
