    Same old... same old...

Of course they take your privacy very seriously and will offer credit-monitoring etc... etc... etc...

I really hope they win, but it will probably be settled so the next time Oracle's lawyers can keep claiming they've never been convicted of any wrongdoing...

If only they took privacy and security as seriously as they do licensing, Oracle wouldn't be in this mess.

That's the key promise behind all these fusion reimplementations - it'll be tough and scary but at the end the new software's the business

Well, this makes a refreshing change - customers suing Oracle and not the other way round.

    And so it starts

I was wondering how long it would take before lawsuits started flying.

    Apparently, it took 8 days.

Lawyers are of the efficient kind, especially when they smell blood in the water.

Oracle aren’t shy of legal threats over licensing - which they take far more seriously than security it seems.

Not sure why you got a downvote for that comment, anyone anywhere who has dealt with Oracle licensing knows how aggressive they are when it comes to that. Like "Nice data environment you have there, shame if anything happened to it" aggressive.
