I would argue trade deficit…. but most of these chips will be exported to China, India, Vietnam, Turkey etc and reimported back incorporated as finished goods - with all new tariffs - as Global Capitalism/Bean-counting/MBA also offshored general manufacturing (and support and services) to cheap and chips to Taiwan/South Korea/Ireland.
