Makes me wonder if Russia might have used some of those "Semiconductors and other advanced electronics" to turn personal massagers into airborne firebombs ... modifying that delightful punch it normally packs into something altogether much more nasty ... (through a magnesium-based substance)! Sounds real desperate to me ...

    .. is full of attempted redundancies, but leads to meaningless, stupid phrases. "Semiconductors and other advanced electronics" -- which "advanced electronics" in this age are not semiconductors?

      Definitions need to be sufficiently verbose to prevent some defense lawyer getting his client off on a technicality.

      Also the legislation probably dates back some decades to when vacuum tubes were still used.
