      But if you live in Texas and the information is that you had an abortion and the stolen data included your address - it might get a bit more serious than your SSN isn't actually as secret as people think

    Along with the usual pleading that nothing bad has happened to your data, why do they always think giving you access to a Credit Monitoring service lets them off the hook.

    Seriously, if my Data had been pilfered at that level, I'd want some serious compensation, not a nugatory shite Credit Check for 12 months, which will really protect me from the Dark Web hordes won't it??
