    A while ago Matt Parker did a code submission stream where he asked people to send him code to run live on his LED tree, the only stipulation was that no code could be submitted that required any libraries other than the one he supplied that interfaced with his LEDs. Loads of submissions didn't run, because people ignored the "no other libraries" part, and the event ended up being a bit of a let down.
