Right now AMD is utterly KILLING IT when it comes to making AWESOME Threadripper/Ryzen-9 Desktop CPUs and Server-centric EPYC 128-core cpus! NO-ONE even comes close to x86 compatibility AND bang-per-buck-per-watt! WHY anyone even uses Intel CPUs these days just surprises me to no end! I would be recommending Threadripper desktops AND many racked stacks of Dual-CPU AMD Epyc server motherboards all-day and every-day to EVERY company that needs serious computer horsepower for their daily needs!

Intel is gonna crash right onshore into the hull-ripping rocks if they don't do something soon! Maybe they need to buy all of IBM for their decent 8-hyperthreads-per-core Power-10 CPU technology and WebSphere 5th Gen web-server-and-applications software development/deployment frameworks! That would be MY suggestion for Intel to do to save themselves!

You forgot to mention Intel's desktop CPU's that stop working after 3 months and can't be fixed. This alone could sink Intel in the class suits building against them. Just dealing with all the returns and sending out replacemnt CPU's must be a huge drain on their bottom line.
