If I am to believe these guys, OpenAI is making 3.4 billion a year, and the competition is getting fierce (meaning OpenAI is losing market share, thus revenue).

Oh, and it's a non-profit company. Ha ha, sure. You're making billions per year (and losing money doing it), but you're a non-profit. Ain't you cute ?

In any case, a few billion a year (that don't cover expenses) is not going to get you investing one trillion, let alone 7 of them.

That's nuts.

I thought is was a (somewhat weird and unusual) typo. Until I checked. Now I think it's a part of the scam - it's a filter. They don't want to do business with anyone "smart" enough to see their story is batshit crazy. (They may have made the filter slightly too difficult to pass though but I digress.)
