    A second disaster is coming

    Patelco accounts have low-to-average interest rates but it climbs to 4.5% when you exceed $250k. That's also the limit of NCUS insurance. Essentially, Patelco is a good credit union if you trust them with a lot of money.

    It took two days for Patelco to get their WordPress web site back up. Their financial systems have no roadmap to restoration after 5 days. They have lost a reason to exist.

    Nah, their WP site was up the entire time. The problem is/was that they were loading assets off of one of their self-hosted servers thus stalling page rendering until that request timed out.
