    Long ago when I created my own version of snap. On boot it used FTP to download the current home directory and vice versa on logout. Yet again, other people stealing my innovation.

      You young ones. Let me tell you how we used to do this stuff in the good (old) days. We've been employing monkeys for long before your so called invention. Our monkeys would be carrying all our papers and other utilities and make them available, in perfect order, at any place we'd stop for even the slightest moment. Never lost any data and it was always safe(*). Now, try that kind of file transfer protocol again today.

      (*) Guarded by an army of another specialized type of monkeys.
