    Trying to silence whistle-blowers is never a good sign. Gives me the impression that they're worried that whatever is coming out is merely the tip of the iceberg.

    BS of the day. What they actually are hiding is crimes: Ordinary office worker has no idea of the technology, therefore it's not about that.

    If I found I was in such a company, I'd quietly leave and get another unrelated job, then blow the whistle.

      The problem is the clawback clause, which makes blowing the whistle even after leaving potentially very expensive.

      No, they did not. They made public statements about releasing employees from those agreements, but none of that has the force of law.

      OpenAI remains a highly secretive organization with a byzantine structure and apparently no effective governance.
