Beware anyone who sells "permanent access" to any software

If the company is not selling a time based license which also states that ownership of the software remains with the supplier, you know it ain't real.

      My thought exactly.

scammers are selling counterfeit code advertised as the NSO Group's notorious Pegasus spyware

"Scammers" doing a public service. Give them a medal.

Anyone trying to buy Pegasus deserves to have malware installed, and anything that further tarnishes what little remains of NSO Group's reputation (fairly or otherwise) is just fine with me.
