    carbon reduction?

    We see bad climate changes as a result of so many changes, probably "only" cars driving around town, planes flying to other countries and possibly data both traveling, and being stored, around the world. Human evolution created us, but now our working and living environment may be unhelpful for our future. I'd love a better world with a lot less carbon and energy disrupting our climates, even if that resulted in slower data and me having to bicycle or walk around town without having to worry about cars running me over ... oh, that was when I was a little kid.

    Earlier this year Dell told me that the new Broadcom reseller stuff didn't apply to VXRail (this was after Dell was no longer able to sell vSphere with their regular servers). Maybe they were wrong or the rules changed since, not sure.

      I think that's actually true. Dell and VMwares relationship is governed by a separate agreement. So Dell can still bundle the VMw stack with their HCI appliance in a perpetual license. Last call is 2025 I believe, since Dell chose not to renew the agreement.
