Since everyone's trying to get onto the AI bandwagon it wouldn't surprise me in the least if ARM rebranded itself to AI-RM or AIRM.

Mind you this AI hype is getting completely getting out of hand. It just corresponds that Big Tech is running out of novel ideas.

That's how you tell hype has peaked. When Facebook became 'Meta' you know the metaverse hype had peaked. When companies started changing their name to something crypto or blockchain you knew that hype had peaked. Waiting for the same with AI.

This goes back to the internet hype in the mid 90s when companies started rebranding (or startups giving themselves) a company name starting with 'i'. One remnant of that is still present in the iPhone - which Apple branded in line with the iPod, which came out right at the peak of the internet hype cycle and corresponding stock bubble.
