    Yahoo blocked? One of the best things that could have happened to them. They're like Google, only scummier. (Difficult but achievable)

      Yahoo Japan has nothing to do with US, it's basically a franchise that bought rights to the name... I believe Softbank owns/owned it...

      Yahoo Japan is one of the old school, legitimate companies that appears to still at least try to stay honest. Just visit their homepage to see... They still run one of those old-school, information dense, pre generic CSM front pages (Like the pre- front page) with a single advert that flows OUT of its column if you shrink the screen.

    Well, finally. Big American tech needs to share a tiny portion of it's wealth with the countries that help make them so wealthy.

    Honestly, regulators should stop basing fines on Revenue (which companies are great at minimising except in some countries) and instead should base it on Income. Preferably, Global Income. A nice percentage hit on GI per offence would be a nice wake-up call.
