    Your'e not keeping track of market dynamics.

    Oracle last quarter was $5b versus $22b for AWS and growing faster.

    Their offering is cheaper and technically more capable for very large workloads.

      Being currently in a massive shit-show of an OCI migration, I very much doubt that. Coming from ULA[1], Oracle Sales made us an offer we should not refuse, promised the sky and more, and now we are in week two after go-live, uptime so far less than a day, doing the indian tech support merry-go-round. All technical capability there might be is amoreliated by the lack of professionalism on their end.

        Having recently left an employer, mostly because of how much of a shitshow OCI is, I feel this.

    It's up to the customer because no company would want to natively support the pile of garbage that is OCI.
