Does anyone else think bunging everything in to web browsers is dangerous?

Actually, objectively, it *is* dangerous. It increases both the attack surface of the browser, and the chances the browser will be attacked.

I'd like to see browsers having functionality paired back little bit. Yes, it does mean they won't be able to do things like run AIs, and it will remove functionality from some web apps, but I don''t think that's necessarily a bad thing.

A browser should be just that: A browser. Not the application you use to do nearly everything on your computer. I used to be an Opera fan, but. TBH, the current version of Opera is the worst for this, IMO.

It's like attaching a coffee machine to a lawnmower. Technically possible, but not what the users want.
