    Single handedly ...

"the size of his pay package was based [on]: exceeding targets for operating profit, annualized run rate (ARR) revenue, and driving intelligent edge margins."

Presumably, none of those paid 1/300th of his salary contributed anything at all to these achievements.

    Compensation

Isn’t it funny how certain people get their compensation, while those doing all the work don’t?

Surely it must be a glitch in the system?

    HPE increases

The CEO gets 20 million. Digital Equipment pensioners have received zero percent increase on pensions earned before 1997. The scheme allows discretionary increases. Digital always gave increases, when Compaq took over they normally gave increases. In the twenty plus years Hewlett Packard have been responsible they’ve granted increases on three occasions. Total increases circa 7% inflation since they took control circa 50%.HPE ceo compensation for one year is almost 25% of the TOTAL pension paid to 5000 or so Digital Equipment pensioners and they say they can’t afford to give the pensioners a modest increase.A shame to see a company treating their pensioners so shabbily.
