    Only fitting that the tech that legally punishing us for having the gall to want to view a web page should also be used to help miscreants find out just how well they are punishing us for being on the web in the first place.

      Considering the ad networks are themselves being used as the infection mechanism (merely viewing a mundane web page that just happens to pick a specific ad can infect you with zero user interaction) and has been for years... it's not that surprising.

      The Chocolate Factory gets kickbacks directly from malware authors to whitelist their malicious ads and that's the real reason they're on a crusade against adblocking, change my mind.
