    Whenever the honest brutal truth be told to markets about unicorns and Ponzis .....

    Vapourware practices are a dodgy product with a crazy shelf-life/indeterminate third party attraction lifespan.

    Why pay for "curated" data to feed your AI parrots when you can give them any old crap for free without affecting your sales ?

      Remember a couple of years ago when it was all about quality training data? Garbage in, garbage out?

      OpenAI have shown you can do just fine with volume, as usual, these guys were a bit slow. I bet the models they trained were really good, but actually it turns out you’ll need a human to review anyway, so speed is better than accuracy, again

    Yeah, there's a bunch of people who've been doing AI for years who've been completely blindsided by GenAI. Not that what they were doing was necessarily useless, but what they do is definitely not trendy anymore, so sometimes everybody just runs away from them.
