      The link in the article saying he was extradited was dated Oct '21 so assuming the time since then was spent in custody and that that counts as part of sentence it means only about another 3 years on top of that time served.

        I vaguely recall the Russia doesn’t mind cyber criminal activities as long as they are focused outside the motherland. It’sa way to generate revenue. Not a noble way, but we’re taking about a nation who has had maybe a decade of liberty in the past free centuries
