back to article That's gas: CO2 found on Europa surface may hint at some possible sign of life

The search for alien life in our Solar System has heated up with the discovery of carbon dioxide on the surface of Europa, the Jupiter moon that is believed to house a massive, salty liquid water ocean beneath its frozen surface. That's pretty interesting because if there's CO2 in that ocean, that would mean there's salty …

    Net Zero

I guess the government of sub-surface ocean has been lazy in taxing whatever generates that CO2 out of existence.

I wonder what other moons and planets think about that selfish moon? After all they all rid of human infestation in their crevices.

        Re: Net Zero

The potential for the existence of cellular life on the Europa moon has been occasionally discussed by scientists for at least 60 years now, it was "publicized" when the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey was released in 1968 but just as an epic science fiction film directed by Stanley Kubrick. It was WONDERFUL, although when I saw the local first release in the UK most of the viewers (me too and my friends) took LSD to watch and listen to it in the movie theater.

ULEZ is about NOx and particulates.

Next year JUICE and then CLIPPER will hopefully launch on schedule and so at the end of the decade the real exciting stuff will start to happen.

Actually I think there's some fairly exciting stuff happening already...
