    Maybe someday...

...There will a Geneva Convention that lays out all of the various forms of torture governments are allowed to use against cyber criminals. While I doubt it would do anything to curb the problem at least we could laugh at something as the world burns.

Only after a Geneva Convention that lays out all of the various forms of bullshit governments/businesses are not allowed to sprout related to their failures

I am surprised that Sumo Logic hasn't removed that boast from their blog. Good find!

I share your assessment of Sumo Logic as a SIEM. Awesome Data Analytics tool, but the Cloud SIEM is woefully under featured and is an Administrative BlackHole for time and effort. The almost complete lack of UEBA and Behavior Analytics ML is also a big hole in the net. Stating you have UEBA by making everything possible an entity seriously clouds the threat landscape.

Yup, let's put our business critical, confidential, proprietary, private data out on the 'net (a bunch of holes held together with string) or the cloud (a bunch of holes held together by vapor). IT's perfectly safe. We don't need 256 bit or better encryptions, two factor authentication. What could possibly go wrong?

      Joke

A bunch of holes held together by string and vapor

I detect an air of deep cynicism round here :)
