Has any originality ever come out of China in the last 1000 years?
Didn't think so. Can't even copy the Russians, which isn't exactly a high bar.
Russia appears to be "better" at running online trolling campaigns aimed at pushing its political narratives than China, according to Meta's latest Adversarial Threat Report. The report [PDF], published Tuesday, features Meta's claims that it has made the world a little bit safer by blocking two of the largest political …
China hasn't invented anything in years. Its the fault of the CCP as anyone that attempts gets shutdown. Look at Huawei, they've been caught a few times over the years at trade shows attempt to steal the tech that is on show.
Mao tried to wipe out their history by destroying ancient monuments, some of which were revealed a few years ago in the big drought as they'd been unwater all the time.
Sadly, for the Chinese people, they are stuck with Mao Mark 2 in the man child that is known as Xinnie the Pooh.
Perhaps not invented but, in 2017, they crossed a historic landmark: being able to manufacture a ballpoint pen from scratch:

Yeah, use slave labour. That is why shit is so cheap over there. Two westerns were in prison and did an article about it, said everyone except for the westerns, were shipped off to factories every day. He said the westerners, including him, stayed behind and wrapped Christmas cards that were heading for Tesco.
The WEF conspiracy theory angle always made me laugh.
You have people who genuinely believe the free market is king - but rich(er) people moving their money to do what *they* want rather than what *you* want is apparently unfair.
While *simultaneously* believing that the notion of world govs trying to *protect* the little guy from such moves is automatically evil - or worse, socialism.
Top laughs.
There you are!
- but rich(er) people moving their money to do what *they* want rather than what *you* want is apparently unfair.
If they use their money to train a cohort of puppet politicians to install in governments and government institutions across the world to do their bidding, it's not "unfair" but rather an embodiment of corruption and a direct attack on democracy.
Yep, laugh mate.
That's my point.
When the rich are paying politicians to do you what *you* want. That's democracy in action.
Trying to have more checks and balances to keep such corruption in check? Lets stack the judiciary to remove the checks. Why, those checks are removing the power from duly elected officials! Muh FREEEDDUUUUMMM!!!
NRA, Big Pharma, Military industrial complex lobbying, the Church? Fine. Lobbying is part of politics -- Unions, BLM, LGBQT+ groups? Evil groomers, apparently
Elon Buying Twitter and turning it into a dumpster fire? That's capitalism Baby! -- Bill Gates spending billions on vaccinations? Evil! He must have an agenda!
Its the double standard that's funny.

In the UK we have conservatives complaining about Union donations to the Labour party. Without a scrap of self awareness.
*Their* donors are literally the people who "use their money to train a cohort of puppet politicians" - just look at the recent honours lists - or the Covid contracts. Where as the Union members are just regular voters who have to pool their funds to compete with the rich people. I am not naïve enough to think there won't be shenanigans when Labour are back in - but Unions are literally the people.
When finally, the UKs rich neo-cons manipulated the gov into producing the low-tax (and not quite yet) low-spend nirvana.... there were consequences. The people who *actually* own everything decided we were a bad investment. The resulting knock on effects wiped £300 Billion off the value of our stock and bond markets Source
Apparently, a cloud cukoo land policy meeting reality and failing to meet expectations must mean there is a conspiracy. I believe there is a warning about the dangers of capitalism in there somewhere
One method is providing back-links. Comments is another tool. Old-school forum spam techniques are often used: flame and flood.
Causing political instability is probably the main goal. LGBT/trans topic has been surprisingly effective to divide Americans. Example: YT channel TFP Student Action (youtube.com/@tfpstudentaction) has a definite flame narrative. I bet, a lot of comments and likes are fake.
Comment flood is used to do dilute informative or political comments with noise. Example: a Balarus government site, with top comments filled with short templated condolences: youtube.com/watch?v=uYlQZ2q9DUE
Then fake likes are used to push the comments up. Not only bots are active, but also work-from-home accounts. This is a form of SEO jobs employment.
Prigozhin was a boss of famous troll farms. One recent way to spot Russian-sponsored media is to look at 1-2 days right after Prigozhin's death just to see zero posts related to his death. It is because the media follow strict instructions ("методички"). His death was extremely news-worthy, but a taboo to discuss there. One such Russian channel: youtube.com/@SMILEFACEru
Back-links from sputnik-magazin.de, or Russian news sites is a shortcut to spot channels resonating with political instability goals of the campaigns. Those channels are:
www.youtube.com/@tfpstudentaction (mentioned above)
www.youtube.com/@RedactedNews
www.youtube.com/@RussellBrand
www.youtube.com/@VALUETAINMENT
www.youtube.com/@UnHerd

An innovative form of money laundering can be employed for channel owners, assuming some of them may be recruited by foreign intelligence. Even if the sites are not paid directly by the adversary, it is sufficient to be paid indirectly through YouTube ads, while getting sponsored by the adversary fake comments, likes, and back-links, therefore traffic to the channel.

The channel owners do not have to be recruited to post flame content. It is enough they observe that the flame content brings them traffic, thus more ad revenue.
The more flame they post, the more fake likes and comments they get from the adversaries, the more they earn from ads. Channel owners likely have low moral principles and do not care that they are destroying their own societies, while monetizing panic and chaos.
Social media MUST block all ads on channels with political or flame content. Maybe some of those will die naturally.
