    I think if you need an AI to help customers decide what to buy from you, you've probably got problems that really don't need solving with AI but by simplifying your product line.

    Good grief.

    I used that abomination once. I asked it questions, and it just pushed IBM crap. I was told "Go ask it a question about something specific" - which I did, got no answer, and was then told "Err, no. OK. Not that question. Try a different question....."

    i have to believe SAP clearly never heard of a [ Search Box ] if this is their future

    Watson was the better approach, but it has a long way to go. Knowledge models and reasoning are critical to real AI. LLMs are just a toy in comparison, and the only reason they're getting hyped now is the confusion of a naive public that is as easily fooled by the likes of Drumpf as it is by text generation.
