    Limited jurisdiction

    With all due respect for what they're trying to do, the decentralised nature of the Internet (some may recall that was kinda a design objective) means that such blocking can only happen in US jurisdictions or where the US has enough ability to blackmail other governments into doing its bidding.

    In other words, they'll simply migrate to one of the countries that makes a mint out of crime and supporting crime. Would be cool if we could shut that down.

    Do offshores have their own powerful armies? Come on, somebody makes good money there with all kind of scam and it seems ok for large militarized countries.

    …how many people silly enough to install this stuff are gonna also be smart enough to know how to buy crypto?

    Or maybe they have to be silly to do both.

      Getting easier all the time. I forget where (shopping center?), but I saw a money-machine which said it sold one/some of the bit-crypto things. I have no interest so did not take notes.
