... their tireless work to bring Bob Lee’s killer to justice ...

It appears San Francisco City Supervisor Matt Dorsey is not waiting for the trial and a "guilty" verdict before badmouthing -- at this pre-trial time -- the suspected perpetrator.

I'm sure he'll be given a fair trial before his 25 year jail term begins.

They are working to bring the killer to justice. The SFPD have started the investigation is ongoing.

It's not their fault if you have trouble understanding the English language

And another failure at English comprehension.

Expressing a hope is not stating a fact about anything except a quale.

Musk tweeting inaccurate information? Shome mishtake Shurely?

Nah, Musk is just advancing his control-freak-paranoid-wold-domination-agenda via opportunistic hijacking of the lamestream media narratives to punch down on proles - business as usual.

    Shift blame? Check.

It didn't take long in some online swamps (ie. immediately) for the blame to shift to the tech industry causing the vagrancy and lawlessness.

    Tragedy

Any loss of life is a tragedy for someone.

Apparently most murderers were known to their victims and I would guess motives boil down to sex and money (and possibly power.) So it would appear this might not be an exception - I would punt on the money side but this is SF so perhaps not.

Only in America it would be considered *normal* for (mass) homocides to be without discernible motive.

In our post covid times does anyone carry enough cash to be worth mugging? I suppose a crazed drug addict might not be that rational but most people living on the street aren't addicts just unfortunate and understandably desperate.

Nope, does not pass the smell test...

    Lets see how he pleads..

There have been some really bizarre murders in SF over the last 60 odd years. I mean truly bizarre. And I'm not just talking about the serial killers. But there is something very odd about the details and shape of this story so far. Spoiled brat rich kids in SF usually dont kill in this way. Even ones with a rap sheet. Like the guy arrested.

Unless they come up with a very plausible backstory to account for such a sloppy killing the jury, so to speak, is very much out. It would not be the first time either that intense political pressure on a totally politicized and hollowed out PD picked up and charged the first person they thought they might be able to stick a charge on. The politicians desperately needed a perp who did not fit the profile of those who account for 95%+ of all killings like this in SF.

Let see if they can produce actual rock solid evidence and a successful conviction. I would not bet on it based on what I have seen so far.

Of course they usually don't. If they did, there would be a great many more homicides.

This is a single case. Whatever happened, drawing general conclusions from it is utter foolishness.

Honestly, it's like some people can't manage to think and write at the same time.

I don't think so. From the little I know, seemed like a fairly straightforward variation on an honour killing for fooling around with the accused's sister. And maybe some prior history with Lee having dated one of the accused's ex's. Just another green-eyed killer in the City of Angels..
