The CAC announced on Friday businesses that handle the personal information of up to 1 million people, or want to send user information of up to 100,000 …
With an approval rate of 40% to 50% there are still hundreds of millions of CCP fans, as much as this will displease you. And so far they are correct. These shitty policies how you call them, helped Chinese people move from middle age to where they are now. Western democracies are not entirely happy about this because communism was supposed to be a failure, something your democratic government would be able to use to scare you.
I know this because I sped the first half of my life under a communist regime (not in China) so unlike you, I have a lot of first hand experience.
Chinese people helped move the Chinese people from poverty, not the CCP and not their shitty policies.
By the way, I'm not sure if you've ever actually been to China but it's about the furthest from a communist/socialist society you can get. Rabid capitalism with Chinese characteristics would be a more appropriate designation.
