    Today's enemy is tomorrow's friend in politics, with the reverse also being true. It is all posturing and grandstanding and angling for "advantage" instead of just trying to strike a fair deal among nations.

      I remember when we were locking out Japanese electronics suppliers to protect vital American defense industries

      Of course i also remember when we were locking out Canadian airline makers to protect Boeing - but that was perhaps 3 years ago
