    Yer what?

I seem to be out of the loop: what is a "colocation provider"?

      Re: Yer what?

You pay them to house your kit. The idea being they have the infrastructure to survive power cuts etc, and a ****ing enormous megabit pipe to serve your websites faster.

However all of that being said, having been shafted by ours believing they can charge £1/kWh, we are pulling out and going to bare metal providers OVH.

It would be impolitic of me to mention them by name. However they are Derby based, so you can speculate.
