    why

    i don't think these folks should be treated nicely. it's nice for western industry to leave severance packages and treat them humanely for the reputation of western business, but ... they are essentially sycophants, russian polite society living the dream of high salary among impoverished countrymen. their racist drunk countrymen look to them to flame their fantasy of a "good life" being possible inside russia. for this reason they all stay complacent and complicit.

      Russia is not a democracy. People there have no say in Putin Khuylo decisions, they are thrown in jail if they even dare to speak.

      Russians people are not the enemy. Putin Khuylo is. The Western World must carry this message high and loud.

      Not making that distinction is playing Putin Khuylo's game of victimisation. Most of Russian people are victims too.

      Most Nvidia employees in Russia probably didn't invade Ukraine. I applaud Nvidia for separating the people from the problem.
