Latest site makeover - Visited links gone?

Who's bright idea was it to remove the HTML color difference between new and visited links?

For a news website this is suicide, it makes it very hard to see where you've stopped reading previously and what's new and worth reading.

I understand everything has to be flat and black to be cool nowadays, but it's utterly annoying, please fix.

Hmmm. They still seem different to me.

What I have noticed is the click boxes have changed... and I'm too dull to remember how. Lost their inverseness, perhaps?

I second this complaint. I ended up clicking an article (Friday's On-Call) three times: once on Friday, and twice today before I realized there were no visited links color-change.

They fixed it apparently, now visited links appear as gray.
