    Re a fuller explanation of an application rich in the utility and engagement/employment and deployment of "immersive convergence" and available in English rather than Chinese, El Reg really needs do nothing more taxing that referring readers to emerging burgeoning commentaries such as this very recent one asking “What could possibly go wrong ignoring unforeseen events presenting unavoidable consequences?" exercising the concept and observing points of friction and difficulty for desirable modification and NEUKlearer HyperRadioProACTivated IT Reprogramming .... able to be correctly labeled and popularly classified as a Future Immersive Convergent AI Conversion.

    I've never thought of myself as a luddite but while I do see a certain number of industrial applications for digital twins, for the rest of us this just stinks of horse shit to me.

    Several studies have shown that overall, Facebook makes its users sadder. Are these (sometimes socially defective) tech tycoons really the best people to be listening to regarding what our future human interactions should look like? Dial back the tech, let's learn how to treat each other like human beings again before finding new ways to take our dysfunctionalities on-line.

    Interesting tech, worst people

    It is interesting technology. I'm not convinced it will be as huge as they hope, but the real problem I have is that the worst companies in the world are the ones most interested in it.
