    Hard to believe that someone is interested in buying it, staff morale is at rock bottom at the moment. After 8 months of promising the first real annual pay review it was scrapped after being delayed over a month because more cost cutting is required.

    Correction, employee morale still slumped

    Probably wider than just EMEA but that region have definitely been told that the much promised and even shouted about merit rewards for FY22 won't be happening.

    So don't look for morale in DXC because you won't find any.

    PE and employees

    Private Equity, DSG or some other group, doesn't care about employees in general and employee morale even less.

    To PE firms employees exist to be fired. They hope to fire enough of them so that they can show a profit. Then they sell the now profitable firm to another company or in an IPO.

    We've seen it before and we'll see it again.

      Private equity firms should be limited to fast food restaurants and the like. Their mantra for fast profits over long term growth have totally trashed America's competitiveness in any science related field.

      CHIPS? Largely a waste of government money. Most of the chip shortages the media reports ad naeusam are for cutting edge technology chips. Cars and most anything else from washing machines to toasters are short on far more mundane chips, programs which private equity firms might scrap due to relatively low returns on investiments.

    I always politely decline when a recruiter rings about this and similar firing agencies.

    This crew and WITCH. For those watching at home and unfamiliar, WITCH can be seen as the opposite of the “glamour” of FAANG, a few of which I also wouldn’t work for but that’s another story.

    Last years after 5 year with no salary increase, I asked for a 10% raise. I gave my manager lots of time to get the wheels turning and get the request up the totem pole. Unsurprisingly my request was denied. But my manager did manage to get me a $2200 bonus which I gratefully accepted. After the bonus was safely deposited in the bank, I handed in my resignation with the obligatory 2 weeks notice. In the months that followed 4 other employees in my group also left the company, as did my manager. DXC is a complete disaster. We were all employed in Canada, and we ran and managed all the multiple HP Nonstop systems used by 2 major Canadian banks. Its hard for me to imagine how these systems continue to operate when a third of the staff quit.

    DXC will be finished in a few more years. The CEO Salvino knows this, as there is nothing left to salvage and turn around. Best to find a sucker to buy it and walk away with a mega million dollar bonus!

    Morale and business is sinking same speed as the Titanic

    Ever since Mikey No 1 cut and cut approach and suppressing employee's morale, pay and condition- still being actioned by Shouty and with more debt added by Share price and Shouty promising more cuts - approach will be to cut staff costs - this turkey company will be sold in fire sale as an asset and strip approach with plenty award at top - CEO & Board but none at the ground - apart from huge job losses.

    Time for good working people at DXC dust their CV's, look around and leave before it damages you, your family life and your health; if you do stay look after yourselves and do the bear minimum
