    India - Services revenue

is more of the 'never mind the quality... feel the width'.

If you are old enough then you may remember the TV sitcom that came from.

It is just as true these days as back in the 1960's.

As for Indian sweatshop scammers. Why do they insist on using an English name when their accent is very South Asia? As soon as I hear an Indian (other south Asia nations are available) voice saying, "This is Peter" I give them a blast of a swear word in Hindi that compares their parentage to that of a pig and hang up.

Posting AC as you never know who is snooping on this site. "hello Imran!"

    UK high value jobs

Why are we sending the high value work abroad

If you think politicians here in the UK care one grain of salt about workers here you are mistaken. A few soapy words every now and then is all you will get.

I wouldn’t worry about it, the ability of the planet to support life is coming to an end, due to human induced climate change.

If you’re on the equator, good luck!

These decisions are normally made by investor driven CEOs and the last time I checked, those muppets are not very good at anything except delusions of grandeur and lying

The real reason ANY work of any type gets done abroad is because WE, the consumers absolutely insist on everything we buy being as cheap as possible. Pay more so jobs could be created in the U.K. for example? No chance.

It's about reducing the cost of building the service and adding the amount saved in building the service to the company's profit margin. The price to the end consumer in the UK isn't affected.
