OceanBase is a distributed relational database that is broadly compatible with MySQL

What does that mean? With the MySQL C-API? With MyASM tables? With InnoDB? Or is it the similar degree of compatbility with the ANSI SQL (choose your edition) standard?

Does it offer automatic replication of data to PRC servers?

I mean, it would be handy if your storage gets corrupted, you could sleep tight knowing there is always a safe backup guarded by the mighty CPC.
